Joyous Chinese Cultural School is excited to present Exploring China, a special virtual class series arranged and led by CCAI’s beloved China representatives as they share the ins and outs of their hometown cultures! They’re here to show you all of their favorite foods, places, and traditions and they’re doing it DIY style, with cellphone in hand and a lot of heart! Exploring China is an incredible opportunity for students to dive into and ask questions about the cuisines, lifestyle habits, neighborhoods, and languages that make each province beautiful, colorful, and unique.
With the intent to provide more relevant cultural learning opportunities that support the personal cultural connection journeys of the adoptee community, we hope students are able to walk away from their Exploring China classes feeling more confident in and connected with their birth culture identities.

Meet the Teachers
Passionate Representatives
Each Exploring China course is a virtual course arranged and taught by a CCAI China representative! They’re here to show you all of their favorite foods, places, and traditions and they’re doing it DIY style, with cellphone in hand and a lot of heart!
For CCAI’s China adoptive families, our China representatives are often the most beloved friends made from their adoption journey. From the moment adoptive parents land in China, to the moment they meet their child for the first time, and for every moment in between until new families take off for the flight home, our China reps are there supporting each family, every step of the way. They are the distant uncles and aunts who are forever cheering on adoptees and their families from across the ocean.
Who better to lead an exploration of China’s provinces than the representatives who lead each adoption trip with such care and kindness?
