I first heard about Adopteen on Facebook the end of my senior year and went to my first Adopteen Retreat in Toledo, OH in 2014. I was so excited to be a part of an adoptee community and connect with others from all over the U.S. I kept up with everyone on social media for years and recently went to Beyond Adopteen in Seattle in August 2022 and enjoyed meeting new faces! After the Seattle trip, I talked to some midwest Adoptees who would love to get together more! I am excited to start a chapter role in planning and organizing events in Louisville, KY (or the mid-west area)! Some of my favorite hobbies are trying new restaurants, going to yoga, going to flea markets, and shopping. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for The Park and Adopteen for the rest of the year and 2023!
