I'm an adoptive mother (closed adoption). My oldest daughter, who is autistic, gave birth to 3 children who she chose to place for adoption. Therefore, I am also an open adoption grandmother. Such joy! Three of my five grandchildren are bi-racial.
I'm happily retired from teaching and also as a Unit Coordinator at an inpatient hospice center. My life if rich with family, writing, reading and exercising. I'm currently writing a memoir about the adoption triad, which should be out in a year.
