APCTC was established to meet the unique needs of AAPI immigrants and refugees. Their services are available to all ages of the AAPI community in California. They have seven locations that people can call and discuss their needs and goals.
AHS is a healthcare provider that offers a complete range of medical, dental, and mental health services. Asian Health Service (AHS)’s mission is to serve and advocate for the medically underserved, including the immigrant and refugee Asian community and to ensure equal access to healthcare services regardless of income, insurance status, language, or culture.
This organization offers primary medical care, mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, dental services, and more. They have an Asian American specific program in the bay area called Asian American Recovery Services (AARS). This program is dedicated to reducing the impact and incidence of substance in the Asian community in California.
KAWA offers services for Korean Americans. Users can search in directories for psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and psychotherapists. Within each directory, users can search by keywords and categories. Therapist profiles provide information regarding their specialties, language, financial information, and contact information.
Asian Pacific Community Counseling serves Asian Americans who live in California. They offer the Transcultural Wellness Center (TWC), the Supporting Community Connections (SCC), and the Family Wellness Center (FWC). These programs for mental health are handled according to client’s cultural and linguistical needs.
ACRS promotes social justice and the well-being and empowerment of the AAPI and other underserved communities – including immigrants and refugees. They develop, provide, and advocate for innovative, effective, and efficient community-based multilingual and multicultural services. ACRS services are available by appointment only.
The AAPA advocates on behalf of Asian Americans to advance Asian American psychology. The AAPA has 8 divisions, including one for multiracial and adopted Asian Americans which seeks to connect individuals and develop a home and community.
FRUA offers four scholarships for Russian and Ukrainian students who have experienced hardship and demonstrated resiliency. In order to access required qualifications and submit your application, a current family membership with FRUA is required.
Adoption STAR offers four unique scholarship opportunities for the adoption community. Scholarships are for academics, LGBTQ+ prospective parents, and special needs children. All of the criteria and application requirements for the scholarships are included.
This organization provides individualized support and services to children, youth and, adults who have special needs or have been in foster care. They strive to empower individuals, support families, and strengthen the foster and adoption community.
